As Ajay addressed, its best to use webi for Users and Rich Client for Developers.
- Some customers having small number of users who were exposed to older versions, want to stick to rich client even after upgrade. Better to suggest them to get used to webi listing out its pros
- Few customers would have huge size of reports need to be created for their own analysis purpose.They would need access to Rich client so that they could save it personally to keep the server space and performance up.
But Proper Sizing based on SAP recommendation and target audience will keep up the server performance even if we use webi in such situations.
- Above all could reduce the maintenace effort when there is an update, if they are not using centralized servers
